🚌 Adamnabus Unveiled in Goris: A New Chapter Begins
We are proud to announce the official unveiling of Adamnabus, our first-ever mobile dental clinic for children. This milestone coincided with the Decentralised Cooperation Summit between France and Armenia in Goris. This emphasized the spirit of partnership and innovation that defines our work.
We presented Adamnabus to senior officials, healthcare leaders, and local stakeholders. We introduced it as an innovative and practical response to rural healthcare disparities. Among the distinguished guests were Vice Minister of Health Artak Jumayan, Advisor to the Minister of Health Dr. Laurence Terzan, Governor of Syunik Robert Ghukasyan. French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies, and the President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region Fabrice Pannekoucke, following their support presented previously also participated.
Adamnabus represents a transformative step toward ensuring that every Armenian child has access to quality oral healthcare regardless of geography. It is equipped with state-of-the-art dental technology, including a modern panoramic X-ray system.
📣 First Media Appearance: Raising National Awareness
Shortly after the launch, Adamnabus made its first media appearance, featured by the national outlet CivilNet and regional broadcaster Syunik TV.
This initial coverage introduced Adamnabus to the wider Armenian public for the first time. It also helped spark growing interest from local and international partners, reinforcing the importance and urgency of our mission.
🚐 First Field Mission: Engaging Schools Around Goris
In preparation for the official clinical launch in Autumn 2025, OHFAR board members conducted a first field mission to several villages in the Goris area.
These visits included meetings with school principals and community leaders, allowing us to assess current needs, build local relationships, and lay the groundwork for our upcoming deployment.
This hands-on engagement ensures that our services will be tailored to the real needs of children and families in Syunik, with long-term impact in mind.
