We are proud to announce the official launch of OHFAR – the Oral Health Foundation for the Children of Armenia, a newly established foundation registered in 2025 in Armenia. Welcome to OHFAR in Armenia !
After more than 20 years of impactful work in Artsakh under the name Hand in Hand NGO, we are restarting and expanding our mission in Armenia with renewed energy, a broader vision, and deeper commitment.
A Fresh Start After a Year of Preparation
The decision to relaunch our activities in Armenia was made in early 2024. Over the past year, our team worked tirelessly to build a solid foundation for the future. On March 30, 2025, we proudly elected a new Board of Directors to lead OHFAR into this exciting new chapter.
Our mission remains clear and urgent: to improve oral health for children in Armenia, especially in underserved communities. We aim to deliver not only care, but also education, prevention, and long-term solutions for generations to come.
Official Launch Events – July 2025

- 8 July 2025 – Goris, Syunik Region of Armenia
These events will bring together key stakeholders, partners, donors, healthcare professionals, and community members to mark the beginning of this important journey.

🌐 Building Partnerships (Q2-Q3 2025)
We are actively creating strong collaborations both locally and internationally with NGOs, universities, dental professionals, health authorities, and global supporters.
👩⚕️ Formation of a New Advisory Board (Q2-Q4 2025)
A newly established Advisory Board will provide expertise and strategic guidance to ensure excellence in every aspect of our work.
🦷 Mobile Dental Clinic Launch (Q4 2025)
Our first mobile dental clinic will begin operations later this year, bringing free oral health services directly to children in rural and underserved areas.
