Our Story
1995
The Armenian International Dental Association (AIDA) was established in Boston, US as an umbrella organization for ACMAO, AADS, AMAQ, ADAC, UMAF and ADAL
1997
The 1st Armenian International Dental Conference was held in Yerevan, Armenia and held every two years since. In parallel, we opened our first clinic in Lachin.
1998
Our new dental clinic opened in Shushi, Artsakh
2004
Creation of Hand in Hand NGO in USA dedicated to delivering free dental services in Artsakh
2005
We opened our free dental clinic in Martuni, Artsakh, following the opening of another clinic in Hadrut in 2004
2006
We launched the first and only mobile dental clinic in Artsakh servicing 11 villages in remote areas providing care for 20,000 children per year until 2023
2023
Our operations ended in Artsakh following the genocide and occupation of the Republic of Artsakh by Azerbaijan
2025
We are launching OHFAR in Armenia dedicated to improve children’s oral health in Armenia
