OHFAR board member Dr Arnold Weiss delivered two trainings in Yerevan for pediatric dentist residents and practicing family doctors.
Our first training for pediatric dentist residents of YSMU
On 14 July 2025, one week after OHFAR official launch, Dr Arnie Weiss delivered a training to pediatric dentistry resident of the Faculty of Dentistry of Yerevan State Medical University. The lecture was about “Oral Sedation: Using wrods versus drugs in behavior guidance and tricks to caring for children successfully”.
Our second training for family doctors in regions with HFA
On 24 September 2025, in partnership with Health For Armenian Foundation (HFA), Dr Arnold Weiss delivered a second lecture related to “Pediatric Dentistry for the Pediatric Practitioner”. The lecture was conducted online for the first cohort of the leadership programme conducted by HFA with primary care doctors from regions of Armenia.
These two trainings are part of our Academy program conducted with local partners and destined to improve capacity of the Armenian dental and medical workforce in oral health of children.
