OHFAR Hosts Its First U.S. Event in Boston: Creating Healthy Smiles

The Oral Health Foundation for Children of Armenia (OHFAR) proudly hosted its first awareness event in the United States, “Creating Healthy Smiles,” on May 21, 2026, at the Armenian Cultural Foundation in Arlington, Massachusetts.

The evening brought together members of the Armenian community, healthcare professionals, supporters, and friends of OHFAR from across the Greater Boston area to celebrate a shared commitment to improving children’s oral health in Armenia. The event marked an important milestone in expanding OHFAR’s outreach and strengthening partnerships with the Armenian diaspora.

Guests were treated to an inspiring musical performance by internationally acclaimed violinist Sofya Vardanyan and distinguished pianist Lilit Karapetian-Shougarian. Their program featured works by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, and Komitas, adding a memorable cultural and artistic dimension to the evening.

Throughout the event, OHFAR shared its mission to promote preventive dental care, improve access to oral health services, and raise awareness about the importance of children’s oral health across Armenia. The generosity and enthusiasm of attendees demonstrated the growing support for initiatives that create lasting impact for children and their families.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make this inaugural U.S. event a success. Your support enables OHFAR to continue expanding access to quality oral healthcare and bringing healthier smiles to children throughout Armenia.

Together, we are building a future where every child has the opportunity to grow up with a healthy smile.
